How it began
A love of Thailand,

Baan Asan began with a single villa and a conviction that the finest way to experience Thailand is privately — away from the resorts, the crowds, and the noise. Our founders had spent years travelling these islands, and they understood what made a stay truly memorable: not the amenities, but the feeling of being somewhere entirely your own.
The name Baan Asan means “easy home” in Thai — a reflection of the effortless, unhurried quality of life we try to create for every guest. From that first villa, the collection has grown carefully and deliberately, each property chosen because it offers something the others do not.

Every villa in our collection is managed with the same attention to detail. Before you arrive, our concierge team will have arranged whatever you need — transfers, chefs, excursions, spa treatments, restaurant reservations. During your stay, they remain available without ever being intrusive.
We believe that great design is not about statement pieces but about the quality of light in a room, the way a terrace faces the sea, the texture of the linens. Our properties are chosen and maintained to this standard, and we work closely with each villa owner to ensure that nothing is left to chance.
